Established in 1999, The mission of the Georgia Indo-American Chamber (GIACC) is to promote and foster trade, business, and commercial relations between India and Georgia, USA. With this in mind, the chamber holds several events throughout the year to provide opportunities to business owners and facilitate trade between the state of Georgia and India.
GIACC also hosts local Indo-American events to build relationships and optimize opportunities. Using a blend of live events and virtual events, to ensure COVID protocols, we have had tremendous success in bringing the Indo- American Community together.
Given the enormous potential, one of GIACC's goals since 2018 has been to connect India’s film industry to Georgia’s Film, Music & Digital Entertainment group to avail of tax credits (up to 30%), and world-class studio and hi-tech production facilities in the State of Georgia.
AIFF 2018 & 19 brought together State, City, Georgia Economic Development representatives, Indian Film makers, Consul General of India, Atlanta, our sponsors and partners, and other members of Atlanta’s business community for networking and exploring avenues in the field of film production. Even during the Pandemic, AIFF brought some off beat movies and discussions with film makers using a streaming platform in 2021.

We have teamed up with the Chicago South Asian Film Festival this year and are gearing up for presenting an amazing selection of movies at AIFF 2022, to be held on September 23rd and 24th, 2022, at the Aurora Cineplex located in Roswell GA town center.
